This stage was critical in outlining our User's needs and identifying the gap we are seeing in existing production software. We looked at competitive applications such as Hot Budgets and Notion.

I worked closely with our Branding and Marketing manager to create a product with visual impact. This process included consistent collaboration with Producers, Stakeholders and the design team. Communication and understanding played a huge role in the success of our marketing and brand Identity.

During this stage I conducted several sketches to identify critical user flows and the overall impact of the UI and its functionality. During this stage I collaborated with our Creative Director and other designers to create Prototypes and critically think through the UI of our designs. I then implemented Accessibility Audits to make sure our product was accessible and fit WCAG Guidelines.

Reflection is a huge part of my design process, this allows me to identify the overall impact of my product and encourage growth and learning. This may be my favorite part of collaborative design because it gives me the ability to improve my skills.
